I am starting to take issue with this map, and our view of Spanish from a US perspective altogether. When I studied Spanish in high school and at university, we were told the voseo/vos/vosotros forms were no longer in use. The map above, from Wikipedia, shows where and when it is used. The thing is, I see Tweets in Spanish from many of these “non-existent” areas (dark gray) all the time.
